Mercedes SLS AMG | New Black Series

There is a team of specialists car makers in southern Germany that makes the insane AMG cars into most hardcore and fastest Mercedes they can be.
Till now there have been Black Series editions of the CLK, SLK, SL and C Class coupe. Now the fifth member of the family is ready i.e SLS.

It i shaving more powerful engine with a 50kg reduction in kerb weight , more aerodynamic body work and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that can handle the power and it means an expected 0-62mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 208mph. This means 0.3 seconds quicker to 62mph than the normal SLS and 11mph added to the top speed.

Due to predicted limited production, you might have to pay along the lines of £250k to £300k to get your hands on one of these insane cars , which is quite a bit more expensive compared to the £168,395 standard car. Even if you have that spare cash with you, you’ll have to wait til 2013.

New Bentley Continental GT | Limited editions

Destined to be built in a limited edition of 50 units, the new Imperium tuned Bentley Continental GT is fitted with the Audentia package.

Audentia means boldness and courage in Latin and while it sounds like a pompous mood, it is actually quite fitting of the Bentley Continental GT as well as the new kit .

Although many aspects of the body are new, giving the familiar outline a crisper appearance, the underpinnings remain the same as before.

Suspension and aerodynamics have been tweaked and internal friction in the engine has been minimised to improve response and efficiency.

As with the outside, Continental GT fans will find the interior familiar, but the details are different. There are new dials and, at last, an improved touchscreen sat-nav system. With Google Maps integration it's now right up to date.

Chopper | what that means ?

A chopper is a radically customized motorcycle, archetypal examples of which are the customized Harley-Davidsons seen in the 1969 film Easy Rider. Many of today’s custom motorcycles are sometimes mistakenly called choppers, but a truly custom-built motorcycle has additional – usually chrome – accessories and billet parts added on to the bike for aesthetic value, while originally such modifications were purely functional in nature.

The United States of America, where most custom choppers reside, is one of the few countries in the world that allow custom-built choppers to be licensed for highway use. Many of these types of choppers are regarded as dangerous to operate and don’t follow basic design geometry and lack many safety features in their construction.

Audi Q7 | A worthy competitor in diesel SUV segment

Audi has always been the weak opponent  as compared to standard setters BMW and Mercedes-Benz. But over the last decade or so, the Audi has been making a huge statement for themselves. It’s one that tells the world that they’re not to be taken lightly and that other automakers should beware, Audi is here to play the game now.
Initially, not all of Audi’s entrances to the luxury segment have been hits and the Audi Q7 full-size crossover SUV is one of them. This is mainly due to the Q7s limited utility ability from its streamlined shape, despite being a sports utility vehicle. Additionally, some call the Audi’s aesthetics controversial, which is something I beg to differ. Either way, to show that Audi is keeping up with the times of weary fuel economy figures, they introduced a new diesel V6 for the US-spec Q7 and they gave us one to see what we think.

BMW | Introducing Laser Headlighting System

BMW has a new rumor, which involves some new headlight technology. According to BMW’s optical systems designer, Hanafi Abdul, BMW will be introducing laser lighting technology for its next generation of headlights.
According to Abdul, this technology is ready and BMW just has to find the right application for it.
Laser lighting offers a range of advantages over the current standard, LEDs. Co-developed with Nichia in Japan, BMW said the laser lighting system is 1,000 times brighter and 100 times smaller than the traditional LED setup. As a result, there’s no need for traditional headlights.
The other benefit is that the laser system is said to be twice as efficient as an equivalent LED system and Abdul said that could significantly impact fuel consumption.
The light is  filtered through a phosphor disc, turning the color of the light from blue to white. And because the technology utilizes a Class 1 laser and has been applied in medical and military fields.
